The route begins at the Church of San Bernardo and winds through the historic village of "canevini bassi," leading to one of the most scenic viewpoints of the lower Lake Garda.
At the start of the staircase, you can turn left following the sign for the Madonna del Pign, where you can admire the statue of the Assumed Madonna, erected at the end of the Second World War as protection for the country.
From this point, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the towns of Garda and Bardolino. The descent continues towards Bardolino, before returning to Garda with a pleasant stroll along the lakeside.
