Since the Longobard era, the panoramic view from the Rocca has been one of the most fascinating and strategic, so much so that it led to the construction of a guard castle, which later gave its name to the town of Garda, derived from the ancient Germanic word "Warda" (meaning “guard”).
Today, as then, a walk in the woods to one of the most beautiful viewpoints of Lake Garda is a must.
Trekking on the Rocca of Garda
For all our guests, who love nature and outdoor activities, we have organised an unforgettable hike through the woods and meadows of the Rocca in Garda. A local guide will make the tour even more complete, engaging and interesting, thanks to the explanations and curiosities he will tell you in English and Italian throughout.

Excursion plan
This activity is scheduled every Monday morning and lasts approximately 3 hours (from 9am to 12pm). It is suitable for everyone. However, it is advisable to wear suitable clothing and comfortable walking or hiking shoes and to carry a bottle of water.
Accompanied by a guide, you will cross the paths through the woods of the Rocca until you reach the various viewpoints, from where you will be able to admire the splendid view of the Bay of Garda, Punta San Vigilio and the entire southern shores of Lake Garda.

CANCELLATION: free up to 24 hours in advance, after which a cancellation fee of the full amount of the excursion will be applied.
